Blood Pressure Distribution from Nnobi Outreach

The attached charts show the distribution of blood pressure and blood sugar levels among patients. While blood sugar levels appear acceptable (considering many results were random and not fasting), blood pressure test results are concerning.

It is important to note that follow-up care is crucial for members of the community who were found to have high blood pressure readings or were in a hypertensive crisis. Providing medications and continuous monitoring for these individuals is essential to prevent serious health complications such as heart attacks, strokes, and kidney damage. Ensuring that these patients receive the necessary treatment and support can significantly improve their quality of life and reduce the risk of life-threatening conditions.

Achievements:

  • Health Awareness: Healthcare professionals provided invaluable preventative health education and awareness to community members.
  • Working with the Umuezeme Community, Idemili Foundation DMV Inc. collected important information on basic medical vitals to serve as a baseline for continuous monitoring and preventative care.
  • Idemili Foundation in collaboration with Chief Charles Ezeonyim ( Ezemgbede Nnobi) has already provided medical services to about 200 people.
  • We have built a team of medical professionals that we can easily tap into as needed.

The occasion was graced by the presence of HRH Igwe Engr. Nick Obi, whose support and encouragement added to the success of the event. His presence underscored the importance of community involvement and collaboration in achieving health and wellness goals.
